Neuropathology/neuroradiology conference held each month

For the past few years, the neuropathology/neuroradiology conference has been held at the Al and Sue Corrado Brain Institute Conference Room at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

This CME-accredited conference is held at 7 a.m. on the third week of each month under the direction of Daniel Rohrer, M.D. (neurosurgeon), Allan Sacker, M.D. (neuropathologist), and several of our neuroradiologists.

For the past year, we have teleconferenced with our Providence Brain Institute colleagues at Providence Portland Medical Center. We hope soon to expand our teleconference outreach beyond the Portland metro area.

Typically, three to five cases are presented at each conference. These cases usually present unique neuropathology, interesting radiological findings, difficult management issues or a combination of the above.

The conference is open to area neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuropathologists, neuroradiologists, neuro-oncologists, radiation oncologists, physician assistants, nurses and ancillary staff.

Participation and outside case presentation are encouraged at this multidisciplinary, educational meeting. For more information or to be placed on our conference e-mail list, please e-mail Dr. Rohrer at
or contact Don Mulconrey, P.A.-C., at 503-546-3503.
