Providence earns more national honors

Once again, Providence Portland and Providence St. Vincent medical centers have been named among the best in the nation for heart and stroke care.

In August, the hospitals were given Get With The Guidelines gold awards for excellence in heart and stroke care from the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
